Khair started his career with Dostoor Newspaper, gaining experience in field reporting and covering important key events such as the return of opposition leader Mohamed El Baradei to Egypt in Febr 2010 and the formation of a political coalition. At that point,I worked as a copy editor which helped me in acquiring the standards of news judgment.I also began blogging on social networks:Facebook and Twitter. In 2009 I began working as a broadcast journalist for Dream Channel where I participated in the coverage of the murder of Khaled Said,a youth whose death helped ignite the 2011 uprising, and anti-Mubarak protests which then escalated into the Jan 25 revolution in the same year..Besides politics,I also covered multiple different cultural and arts festivals such as the Cairo International Film Festival which helped to broaden my news coverage. In 2012 I was lucky to have joined the esteemed journalist Yosri Fouda’s show The Last Word which was a powerful jump for my career as a broadcast journalist in Egypt.During my time with Akher Kalam, I helped establish the first investigative journalism unit in Egypt along with producing the presidential debate for the two candidates Amr Moussa and Abo Futuh in Egypt for the first time.My main task on the program was to produce several episodes, reports, and investigative episodes on different topics. The skills I gained from working in broadcast and print journalism along with workshops and internships from BBC and Reuters and other Egyptian initiatives have helped me to develop into the well-rounded journalist that I am now. I started working as a news presenter on TV in 2013 because of the rich and experiences I have acquired as a journalist and my natural ability to word news live on TV.My work in writing, producing and presenting news, together with my vast network of contacts has allowed me to produce coverage of all of the governorates in Egypt on topics ranging from politics,to art and development.

Mohamed Ali Eddin is an Egyptian freelance photojournalist, interested in human rights and workers’ issues. Most of his photo stories reflect Egyptian life outside Cairo, where people suffer from a lack of public services. In order to find those stories, he spends most of his time traveling across the country.
Starting his career as a reporter, Mohamed was passionate about finding interesting stories that touched readers. He soon noticed that even good writing went unread without photographs to help tell the story visually.
That realization led him to focus more on photojournalism and how a photographer can tell the whole story without words. In addition to the World Press Photo Reporting Change workshop, Ali Eddin has participated in the Noor Images Al-Liquindoi Photography Workshop and won grants from World Press Photo and Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation. !
